U.S. Vice President Vance: Today, we have taken another important step on the path to achieving our commitment to energy dominance. I am pleased to announce the launch of the Alaska Railbelt Transmission Project, which will invest $400 million to build Alaska’s power grid. Through this project, the Trump Administration will assist in building more than 200 miles of new transmission lines, thereby reducing costs and enhancing grid reliability, benefiting 75% of the state’s population.
