Mohammed Buhaithi, a member of the Yemeni Houthi political bureau, told Iranian Al‑Alam TV reports that Saudi forces control Mocha and the Bab al‑Mandeb are “not true.” He said Saudi troops exploited a military vacuum to enter the areas but were subsequently expelled and that local security has been restored. Buhaithi called for an end to the war and the blockade of Yemen and warned the Houthis would respond if Saudi forces continue to escalate.
