Far-right presidential candidate and National Rally leader Marine Le Pen
unveiled a budget blueprint on Tuesday that would reduce France's budget deficit
to below 3% of GDP by 2032 at the latest, conditional on her winning the
election. She framed the plan as investor reassurance amid political uncertainty
and ballooning public debt that has reeled the bond market, warning France could
lose financial sovereignty if it does not act.
