More than 10 brokerages have integrated with third-party AI platforms, including
Kimi, WorkBuddy, Qianwen and Volcano Engine. Several large houses are connecting
to multiple platforms rather than choosing one; a CITIC Securities IT executive
said platforms have different strengths and will be used by scenario. After a
year of competing on in-house large models, brokers are prioritizing new users
touchpoints—delivering research, market data and other capabilities via skills
or agents to reach more potential clients. For financial firms, competition for
client traffic is now unavoidable, and plugging into leading platforms' mature
ecosystems is the most direct route.
