On Oct. 6 local time, Israel’s Prime Minister’s Office posted on social media
urging Israeli nationals abroad to heighten security awareness ahead of the
third anniversary of the Oct. 7, 2023 outbreak of renewed Israel-Palestine
hostilities. The office said security assessments indicate an elevated risk of
plots against Israeli and Jewish targets overseas and warned of potential
attacks and demonstrations, noting some armed groups and extremists treat the
anniversary as a symbolic moment to act.
