Qatar's foreign ministry media and communications director Ibrahim Hashimi said
on the 6th that negotiations and information exchange among parties to the
regional conflicts are continuing via Qatar and regional partners, with
diplomatic efforts under way to bridge differences. He said talks remain ongoing
and take account of parties' concerns but declined to comment on specific
proposals, dispute points or technical details. Hashimi warned the world is
paying a heavy price and urging an immediate negotiated end to the conflict.
