Reuters — U.S. Vice President VANCE said Iran must substantially reduce its
nuclear enrichment capacity to meet U.S. demands and end the two countries'
seven-month conflict. Any agreement must require cuts to enrichment capacity
rather than mere promises of future reductions, he said. "If you don't need
nuclear weapons, why need 60% enriched fuel? If you want to show you won't make
nuclear weapons, don't make high‑enrichment fuel," VANCE said, adding the U.S.
remains open to a deal but will demand concrete nuclear concessions. "We will
not substitute words for action."
