Wall Street Journal, citing current and former Treasury officials, reported U.S.
Treasury Secretary Bessent's management style has been a factor—sometimes the
primary factor—in the departures of several key officials. Officials say since
Bessent took office in early 2025 he has frequently rebuked both senior advisers
and junior staff over matters large and small.
