Russia's Defense Ministry said on Oct 7 it used land-, sea- and air-based
precision weapons and drones in large-scale strikes on Ukrainian targets. It
said attacks hit military-industrial plants in Kyiv city and the regions of
Kyiv, Chernihiv, Kirovohrad, Dnipropetrovsk, Poltava and Kharkiv that produce
and store "Flamingo" cruise missiles and medium-to-long-range UAVs for the
"Huodian" company. In Odesa region, it said strikes struck port and ship-repair
infrastructure and vessels used by Ukrainian forces.
