According to Japan's Kyodo News, Japanese Prime Minister Sanae Takaichi stated during a representative interpellation in the House of Representatives that the Japanese government "cannot approve" of a "nuclear sharing" framework that allows the deployment of U.S. nuclear weapons on Japanese territory and their deployment by Japanese fighter jets in the event of an emergency.
