The Wall Street Journal reports venture firm Disruptive is raising up to $10bn
for a new fund, which would place it among Silicon Valley’s largest 'super
funds.' Founded by Alex Davis, Disruptive gained attention after an early stake
in Groq following NVIDIA’s roughly $20bn licensing agreement with Groq late last
year. The firm has also backed open‑source AI model developer Reflection AI.
Insiders say Disruptive has secured about $7.5bn in commitments and plans to
deploy the capital into roughly 10 late-stage companies over the next two years.
