According to Iranian media Fars News, an advisor to the commander-in-chief of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps stated that the Strait of Hormuz has been blocked, and Iranian armed forces have complete control over it. This situation will continue until Iran's legitimate demands are met. He stated that the amount of smuggled oil is negligible, and it cannot be said that the Strait of Hormuz is open to such activities, but some people are using small boats to smuggle oil and transfer it to tankers. He also stated that soon, a few routes opened by violators through the destruction and damage of certain rock passages in the strait will be blocked.
