Oct. 7 — Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov said at a briefing that a new round of
calls between President Putin and President Trump has not been agreed at a
"concrete level", but Moscow will quickly coordinate if Washington makes an
initiative. He was commenting on Trump’s remark he would speak with Putin
"soon". The leaders last spoke on Sept. 8.
