Newly formed National Compute has consolidated compute capacity from several large tech firms and will donate $100 million in compute credits to the Trump administration to support the Genesis Mission, two people familiar with the matter said. The donation will be announced at a Thursday event attended by White House Office of Science and Technology Policy director Michael Kratsios. The credits will be made available to researchers participating in Genesis Mission, a cross‑agency AI initiative to accelerate scientific discovery.
