Shanghai Municipal Culture and Tourism Bureau said the city received 4.5302 mln visitors on Oct. 7, up 13.25% YoY, and 20.2054 mln visitors over Oct. 1–7. As of 24:00 Oct. 6, average daily temporary foreign arrivals to Shanghai were 15,340, up 13.86% YoY. Average hotel room occupancy was 63%. The bureau forecasts total tourism transaction value for Oct. 1–7 at RMB 29.822 bln, up 3.52% YoY (includes food, lodging, transport, sightseeing, shopping and entertainment).
