Jeff Bezos said Blue Origin is likely to pursue an IPO in the coming years after
completing its first external financing. He said he now has a clearer view of
the company’s financial outlook; Blue Origin recently raised $10 bln from
external investors and may raise more, and Bezos has personally funded about $28
bln since founding. He added the process could take "a few years." The company
plans a December reflight of its New Glenn rocket, aimed at competing with
SpaceX’s Falcon 9.
