At last month’s China‑US leaders’ meeting, President Trump reportedly said he
hoped China and Japan leaders would hold talks and that export‑control measures
against Japan be canceled. Asked to confirm and whether Japan was discussed,
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said China has already published
information on the leaders’ meeting and asked media to consult that official
release.
