EIA Natural Gas Report: For the week ending October 2, total U.S. natural gas inventories stood at 3.5 trillion cubic feet, up 85 billion cubic feet from the previous week and down 130 billion cubic feet from the same period last year, a year-on-year decrease of 3.6%, while being 68 billion cubic feet higher than the 5-year average, an increase of 2.0%.

HKEX will publish a consultation in Q4 on extending cash-market trading hours; longer-term measures under consideration include tokenized currency and digital-HKD settlement arrangements to give investors more flexibility to adjust positions and manage risk across time zones.
