As of the 23:00 market close, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Methanol rose over 7%, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) rose nearly 6%, benzene rose over 3%, fuel oil rose nearly 3%, and plastics, polypropylene, and polypropylene futures rose by an average of over 2%, while styrene (EB) rose nearly 2%. On the downside, ethylene glycol (EG), offset paper, iron ore, and TSR20 rubber fell by over 1%, while asphalt and pulp fell by nearly 1%.
