According to Iranian media Fars News, a spokesperson for the Iranian Ministry of Defense stated that Iran's weapons production increased to 2.5 times its pre-war level during the war. "We had previously arranged safe alternative locations for production facilities, and the supply and production of equipment for the armed forces has not been interrupted even for a single day. During the war, 9,000 enterprises volunteered for military production."

The ECB’s main refinancing operation (MRO) was not designed as a crisis facility and take-up has been low because market funding is often cheaper. Although market liquidity is still ample, banks may avoid the MRO due to stigma; analysts advise the ECB to consider lowering MRO financing costs, as the Bank of England has done, to make the tool more attractive and reduce that stigma.
