China’s postal regulator says the country has built the world’s largest delivery network and annual per‑capita express usage exceeds 140 parcels. Operating on a hub+corridor+network model, throughput tops 6,300 items/sec, averaging about 540 million parcels/day. Key hub clusters — Beijing–Tianjin–Hebei (Jing‑Jin‑Ji), the Yangtze River Delta, the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area, Chengdu–Chongqing and central city clusters — are largely formed. Average end‑to‑end service times and customer satisfaction are improving. The regulator cited a broadly stable economy and rising domestic consumption as a demand base, and said the postal/courier sector is expanding from rural areas to factories and from domestic to overseas markets, underpinning further market growth.
