A‑shares fell in the morning session. Shanghai Composite down 1.21% at midday, Shenzhen Composite down 2.09%, ChiNext Index down 2.61%, STAR 50 Index down 3.78%. MLCC, PCB and optical‑communications hardware names led declines: Fenghua Hi‑Tech, Jin'an Guoji and Kangqiang Electronics hit daily down limits; Zhongji Xuchuang fell over 5% and breached its 250‑day moving average; Guoci Materials, Yuanjie Technology and Shennan Circuits were among the heaviest losers. Battery names outperformed: Liwang Co and Lingpai Technology hit daily limit up and CATL rose more than 5% intraday. Consumer staples rallied, with Guofang Group and Liren Lizhuang at limit up. Organic‑silicon plays were also active; Chenguang New Materials and Dongyue Silicones hit daily limit up.
