Gold rose more than 1% on Friday after the dollar weakened and U.S. Treasury
yields fell, rebounding from a two-month low on Wednesday. The U.S. 10-year
yield slid for a second session and oil declined after Trump said the U.S. would
not attack Iran before the November midterms, easing Middle East supply
Critical Metals CEO Tony Sage warned further monetary tightening could
still pose downside risk to gold and said traders will watch upcoming economic
data for policy clues ahead of the Fed's October meeting; weaker data or
guidance could push yields lower and support bullion.
