Ailes said the overseas Phase III FURVENT study of its core drug Fumetinib requires deeper data analysis and the company will finalize subsequent development and regulatory engagement after review. The company expects the FURVENT result will not affect Fumetinib sales in Q3 or thereafter, noting current revenue is driven by its first‑line indication for EGFR sensitizing mutations. At a global investigators’ meeting, experts judged Fumetinib met prior efficacy expectations for EGFR exon 20 insertion mutations. A blinded independent central review (BICR) found a substantial divergence in PFS versus investigator assessment in the chemotherapy arm; excluding that discrepancy, the company said other data performed well.
