The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) forecasts the following soybean ending stocks for the 2026/2027 marketing year in October: 315 million bushels, compared to market expectations of 305 million bushels and a September forecast of 310 million bushels; soybean production is projected at 4.562 billion bushels, compared to market expectations of 4.534 billion bushels and a September forecast of 4.535 billion bushels; soybean yield is projected at 53.1 bushels per acre, compared to market expectations of 52.8 bushels per acre and a September forecast of 52.8 bushels per acre.
