At midday closing, most domestic futures contracts rose, with methanol up over 7%, coking coal up over 4%, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) up nearly 4%, polypropylene and plastics up over 3%, and coke, rubber, and TSR20 rubber up nearly 3%. On the downside, container shipping to Europe fell over 5%, tin and ethylene glycol (EG) fell over 4%, lithium carbonate fell over 3%, asphalt fell nearly 3%, and offset paper and urea fell over 2%.
