According to the U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC), for the week ending October 6, speculators' net short positions in CBOT U.S. 2-year Treasury futures increased by 60,880 contracts to 852,904 contracts; speculators' net short positions in CBOT U.S. ultra-long-term Treasury futures decreased by 50,097 contracts to 276,339 contracts; and speculators' net short positions in CBOT U.S. Treasury futures decreased by 67,063 contracts to 119,812 contracts.
