Ukraine President Zelenskiy slammed US President Trump’s decision to
unilaterally lift relevant sanctions to allow Russian diesel exports, calling
the move "unfair" and "dishonest" and saying it looked like "a birthday present
for Putin," Axios reported. Trump announced the diesel supply agreement after a
call with Putin, a step that surprised Ukraine and several European governments.
The report said US Middle East envoys Witkoff and Kushner were in Miami meeting
Ukrainian and European representatives to discuss a possible plan to end the
Russia-Ukraine war.
