Oct 10 — CHINA STATE PLANNER director Zheng Shanjie chaired a private‑enterprise
forum and urged accelerating the start of major projects specified in the 15th
Five‑Year Plan and the “Six Networks” implementation plans to stimulate domestic
demand. He called for deeper integration of technological and industrial
innovation to strengthen industrial and supply‑chain resilience, raise energy
and resource security, and shore up national food security. The agency said it
will timely design additional high‑leverage policy tools and operational
measures to steer the economy toward higher‑quality growth and help meet annual
targets. It also pledged to deepen government‑enterprise communication and
problem‑solving mechanisms, routinely pitch projects to private capital, and
support private firms’ participation in project implementation to promote
high‑quality development of the private sector.
