On the 10th Houthi forces said they are willing to take reciprocal measures with
Saudi Arabia to avoid drawing airports, seaports and other humanitarian
facilities into escalating military confrontation, Masirah TV (controlled by the
group) reported. The group said it would push parties to avoid attacking such
facilities and would designate airports and seaports as priority protected
sites, and accused Saudi forces of striking Sana'a international airport on July
13, which it said ended a prior period of accommodation. The Houthis said they
do not accept Saudi troop presence in Yemen. In recent days the group has
carried out multiple attacks on Saudi airports and oil facilities. The Saudi-led
coalition said it is conducting large-scale operations to degrade Houthi
military capabilities, dismantle its ballistic missile network and provide
round-the-clock air support to Yemeni government forces.
