According to Iran's Fars News Agency, Yemeni sources say Saudi Arabia was caught off guard by the number and accuracy of the missiles launched from Yemen. A Yemeni official stated, "The incompetence of Saudi air defense has forced Saudi Arabia to pressure its forces to achieve any form of battlefield progress, regardless of casualties." The official added, "The Saudi mercenary special forces, known as the 'Giant Brigade,' have suffered over 400 casualties to date, including some commanders."
