On Oct 11 at midday local time the Houthi armed movement said it would respond
in kind if Saudi Arabia continued military operations against it. The group said
Dozens have been killed, hundreds injured and infrastructure damaged since the
July 13 attack on Sanaa International Airport. It accused Riyadh of ignoring
calls to lift the blockade and stop strikes on the airport and warned continued
hostile action would inflict strategic losses on Saudi Arabia and could further
escalate the situation.
