A Houthi spokesperson said the group launched four targeted operations against Saudi Arabia over the past 24 hours using ballistic missiles, cruise missiles and drones. The first, carried out in three stages beginning the night before last, struck Riyadh’s King Khalid International Airport, forcing a full closure and suspension of aviation operations. A second hit a Saudi Aramco gas facility in eastern Saudi Arabia (Shakdam), causing a large fire. A third struck Aramco’s Tanajib oil facility in the east and ignited a fire. A fourth hit Dammam’s King Fahd International Airport and disrupted aviation activity. The Houthis warned all global companies not to operate flights to Saudi airports, excluding airports and airspace serving the holy sites of Mecca and Medina.
