A bipartisan group of U.S. senators urged President Trump on Sunday to rescind his decision allowing imports of Russian diesel, saying it violates a 2022 congressional ban on Russian energy and hands Moscow an economic lifeline amid its military action in Ukraine. The senators said the administration failed to consult Congress or provide a legal explanation as required by the law. Signatories include Republicans Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, Thom Tillis and John Curtis, and Democrats Jeanne Shaheen, Richard Blumenthal and Ron Wyden.
