The China-led Beijing Accord, the first international vocational education
standard, is due for release. Drawing on Chinese practice and global experience,
the text covers values, systems, governance, quality assurance and
implementation, and aims to establish global accreditation and
mutual-recognition mechanisms to enable cross-border alignment and recognition
of vocational standards and qualifications.
