Shanghai has launched an action plan to accelerate development of new-generation
intelligent manufacturing. The city will implement four major projects and 19
priority tasks to deepen integration of artificial intelligence and
manufacturing and speed construction of a new-generation intelligent
manufacturing system. The move builds on existing initiatives such as the Smart
Factory Pilot Plan and AI+Manufacturing to raise innovation and application
levels. Implementation will coordinate work across supply capacity, integration
and innovation, factory construction and the industry ecosystem.
