President Trump said on the 12th he believes Russia and Ukraine have agreed to
he proposed "energy ceasefire" and must reach a deal to end the conflict.
Speaking to reporters as he left the White House for Ohio, he said Putin and
Zelenskiy should sit down to negotiate, that Putin is more willing than
Zelenskiy to reach an agreement, and when asked whether both sides had agreed to
the energy ceasefire he replied, "They have agreed. You know why? Because I said
they agreed."
