Zunjie released the V800 brake‑pedal inspection results today; the test was carried out by the China Automotive Engineering Research Institute testing center. The inspection follows an Oct. 8 Dongchedi video showing three new V800s experienced brake‑pedal‑bracket fractures during repeated 100km full‑brake tests, which prompted industry concern. Zunjie previously described the Dongchedi test as an extreme, non-standard condition, said mass-production vehicles had not displayed the same failure, and pledged component optimization and free upgrades for vehicles already sold.
