China International Capital Co says since August shares of overseas systematically important banks have fallen about 8% on average while large Chinese banks are up roughly 9%, with Chinese banks' YTD average return near 32%, outpacing foreign peers. The firm warns short-term price moves do not confirm a long-term trend reversal, but differences in fiscal policy, interest-rate and credit cycles and a market repricing of banks' future profitability and balance-sheet risk make large Chinese banks are relatively attractive on a risk‑return basis. China International Capital Co continues to favor large Chinese banks versus overseas peers.

The Ministry of Transport and two other departments issued the Inland New‑Energy Vessels Promotion and Application Action Plan (2026–2030). By 2028 the inland new‑energy vessel fleet should double versus 2025: electric transport vessels to exceed 1,000 and methanol‑powered vessels to exceed 100, with significant increases in electric government and port service vessels and initial full‑scenario demonstrations. Yangtze trunkline methanol refueling capability is to achieve end‑to‑end connectivity and charging/battery‑swap facilities in the Yangtze River Delta water network to be largely networked. Designated green shipping corridors on the Yangtze, Xijiang trunk, the Beijing–Hangzhou Grand Canal and Yangtze Delta electrification pilot zones should form about 3,000 km of zero‑carbon waterway transport routes.
