Apple (AAPL.O) will unveil several new products this week and month, but
investors are uncertain they will rekindle momentum in a richly valued stock
that has been largely flat in recent months. Tuesday: smart‑home event to show
an Apple smart doorbell and thermostat. Later this month: a touch‑screen MacBook
and a new iPad mini. Friday: preorders open for the foldable iPhone Duo — billed
as the biggest design change to Apple’s most profitable device and to carry
premium pricing. Shares hit a record in late July on the smart‑home push and
market approval of Apple’s avoidance of large AI spending, but have since
stalled.
