Russia struck Kyiv with five ballistic missiles that hit civilians
infrastructure, Ukrainian President Zelenskiy said. He said Ukraine did not
receive the usual advance warning from Western allies, though Kyiv continues to
receive Western intelligence on Russian strikes. Ukraine remains heavily
dependent on US intelligence sharing and on US-made weapons purchased with
funding from other NATO members. Last year the US temporarily suspended
intelligence sharing after a public dispute between Zelenskiy and Trump.
