Naghdi, a senior advisor to the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, stated that US commanders haven't even begun to formulate a preliminary plan for a ground offensive against Iran because they are acutely aware that the US military lacks the capability to carry out such an operation. He added that if the US were to launch a ground offensive, a large number of US troops would be captured, ultimately forcing them to surrender.
