On the 13th IRGC Navy commander Azmaei said a US warship is “out of action”
about 700 km from the Strait of Hormuz because it dared not approach, and that
Iran is “waiting” for a US vessel to close the strait’s entrance so it can sink
it, saying “we are counting down.” He added Iran can cooperate with neighbors on
economic, political and military security, insisted US forces must leave the
region, and said Iranian forces are better equipped and more prepared, having
turned tactical weaknesses into advantages.
