Oct 8 — China's National Energy Administration deputy director Wang Jianbo
attended the 20th East Asia Summit energy ministers' meeting and the 23rd ASEAN
and China-Japan-South Korea energy ministers' meeting in Manila. Wang said China
is willing to deepen policy coordination with ASEAN and advance cooperation on
clean energy, grid interconnection, technology innovation and capacity‑building
to help build a clean, resilient regional energy system. Both meetings adopted
joint statements.
