Hunan provincial SASAC and China Rare Earth Group met in Ganzhou and agreed to
accelerate signing a strategic cooperation agreement for the 15th Five-Year Plan
period to deepen cooperation in rare-earth resource development, smelting and
separation, deep processing and new-materials R&D and application. They said
they will jointly seek central ministry support, expedite implementation of key
projects, strengthen coordination of technology-innovation platforms and promote
integration of rare earths with Hunan’s advanced-manufacturing sector; China
Rare Earth Group has designated Hunan as a priority province for its 15th
Five-Year investment layout.
