At the close of the morning session, domestic futures contracts showed mixed results. Apple futures fell over 5%, eggs fell over 3%, tin futures, red dates futures, and soda ash futures fell over 2%, and container shipping contracts for Europe and silver futures fell nearly 2%. On the upside, fuel oil futures and ethylene glycol (EG) futures rose over 3%, benzene futures rose nearly 2%, and polyvinyl chloride (PVC) futures, PVC monthly average price futures, palm oil futures, rapeseed meal futures, and polypropylene futures rose over 1%.
