From a demand perspective, the answer is yes. With the development of artificial intelligence, data centers, and the advancement of large-scale electrification, copper demand will experience exponential growth. However, from a supply perspective, the situation may be different. Global oil supply is generally ample. While oil supplies may be disrupted by geopolitical events, fundamentally, there is no global oil shortage. Copper, on the other hand, is different. Over the next 5 to 10 years, the world will face a structural copper supply shortage, and this trend is expected to intensify.
