Forecasts project heavy torrential rain in parts of southeastern Chongqing, northeastern Guizhou, southern Hubei, northern Hunan and northern Jiangxi on Oct 14–15, with isolated extreme downpours, short-duration intense rainfall and localized thunderstorms with strong convective winds.
