Hong Kong-listed memory chip stocks declined, with SK Hynix (07709.HK), a 2x leveraged long position held by CSOP Asset Management, falling over 22%, Samsung Electronics (07747.HK), a 2x leveraged long position held by CSOP Asset Management, falling over 20%, Montage Technology (06809.HK), falling over 9%, and GigaDevice (03986.HK), falling over 6%. Previously, the South Korean KOSPI index fell by 7%, SK Hynix fell by 10%, and Samsung Electronics fell by nearly 8%.

On the upside, fuel oil gained about 2 pct and LPG rose about 1 pct.
