The 2026 North Bund International Shipping Forum will take place Oct. 20-21 at
the North Bund World Reception Hall in Hongkou, Shanghai. Co-hosted by the
Shanghai municipal government and the Ministry of Transport, the forum theme is
Shared Challenges, Shared Mission — Promoting Resilient Global Shipping
Development. Agenda comprises an opening session, two main forums on
international shipping and international aviation, and five sector forums
covering maritime traffic safety, finance and insurance, digital intelligence,
green low‑carbon measures, and judicial arbitration. Concurrent events include
Shanghai Pudong International Shipping Week and the Global Maritime Forum;
Organizers say the program exceeds 60 events.
